Olympic BSOD a Pechino 2008
Si, la notizia è già passata su Digg quindi sarà vecchia, però mi ha fatto ridere lo stesso. Non oso immaginare cosa sia successo al responsabile di questa esibizione ... una schermata blu durante la grande cerimonia di apertura delle Olimpiadi di Pechino 2008, mentre Li Ning passava in volo con la torcia!! Anche io ho incontrato un Blue Screen of Death a Monaco, all'aeroporto Franz-Josef Strauss, lo vedete alla vostra sinistra!

Quick Tips – Installing JINI on Gentoo with NPTL
Just a quick tips for all folks out there that are getting mad on this 
Problem: if you are trying to install JINI in Gentoo Linux, after you downloaded the installer starter kit you may start it and find errors like this:
grep: error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
This seems to happen if you have compiled your glibc libraries with nptl and nptlonly USE flags. You will be unable to install JINI (and I have read that this problem could happen to other java installers. But there is an easy solution for this!

Lookitsme 404 Error page
Just a cool and original 404 error page: click here
A nice example of original content design. Stop the proliferation of ugly HTTP 404 error pages and free your fantasy! The only drawback on this approach is the use of proprietary (Macromedia Flash) technology on a page that should be "a standard". And maybe it could cause a server overload if many HTTP 404 errors occour. What do you think?
Another consideration: I've checked that site's homepage and actually found that the 404 error page, at a first glance, seems to be more interesting than the site itself! Weird...
Update: I've found a cool site with a lot of 404 examples!
