I’ve decided to pick up one photo from each “major” place I’ve visited until now. I’ve certainly visited more than the one depicted here, let’s just say that I’m putting the ones I’ve reached with a camera

Adding some nice pictures I’ve taken in Valencia (Spain). I’ve spent a few days there, and I definitely recommend it: not only you can get wonderful food and wine (the typical rice dish “paella” as well as a variety of superb fish plates) but you will enjoy a nice holyday in a cheap, touristic-friendly city! The metro brings you directly on the beaches (Playa de la Malva Rosa) where you can hire a beach chair and umbrella for the whole day and for a few euros! Nothing compared to some really expensive beaches in Italy where a mortgage is needed to afford them lol. In the evening you can enjoy the never-ending night life and the romantic city centre

Valencia is easily reachable from the major airports, about 2 hours of flight from London Gatwick with Easyjet. The city centre is connected to the airport with the metro line. You can buy three-day travelpass which allow you to board all the public transports and entitle you to various discounts for about 20 euros.

And so … after one year and a half I managed to explore the famous seaside resort in United Kingdom, Brighton for a weekend break. 1 hour train from central London, not too bad. Have to say it was quite good, temperature was terrific and it was quite fun to see how the britons are reacting to the sunshine and the nice temperatures I have got a sunburn, mainly because I am not having regular doses of sunshine lately! No bathing for me, water looked way too cold for a mediterranean being like me… Now, let’s hope the sun stays around a bit more for the Bank Holyday week end!

Come avevo promesso, vi parlerò un po’del viaggio che ho fatto a Kiev in Ucraina. Ormai è passata una settimana da quando sono stato lì, e ho lasciato passare un po’di tempo per riorganizzare le idee e cercare di descrivere nel miglior modo possibile quello che è stato un viaggio sicuramente insolito, in un paese che qui in generale non conosciamo molto. Via le zone? Posso andare dove cavolo voglio per il periodo prescelto? Tipo Madrid -> Amsterdam -> Bucarest-> Narvik -> Atene in 10 giorni e poi rendere l’anima al creatore? Mah, non so, effettivamente la cosa è allettante ma bisogna vedere se non si riesce a organizzare qualcosa di decente anche a mezzo aereo e magari si paga meno. Comunque c’è da pensarci …
